own words, providing intimate, first-person accounts of the onset,
living with, and recovering from this most misunderstood illness
- many of whom have recovered.
This award-winning documentary
also presents leading clinicians, medical researchers and mental
health advocates explaining this disease that affects one in
100 people and how a growing number of people are able to significantly
improve (return to normal lives/recover) thanks to new, "second
generation" medications.
